Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Dashboard → Billing → scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
I paid but my account still shows Free. What do I do?
Try signing out and signing back in. If the issue persists, email us at support@resumechiefz.com with your payment confirmation and we'll fix it right away.
Can I get a refund?
For the monthly plan, you can cancel before your 7-day trial ends to avoid any charge. For the one-time Pro plan, all sales are final once access has been granted. If you have an exceptional circumstance, reach out and we'll review it.
My PDF upload isn't working. What should I do?
Make sure your file is a standard PDF or .docx Word document under 10MB. If it still fails, try copy-pasting your resume text directly into the text box instead.
The AI generated incorrect information. Can I edit it?
Yes — always review your generated resume before using it. The AI works from the information you provide, so the more detail you give, the better the output. You can copy the text and edit it in any word processor.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → scroll to Danger Zone → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all saved resumes. This action cannot be undone.
Is my resume data private?
Yes. Your resume data is stored securely and is only accessible by you. We do not sell or share your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What's the difference between the one-time plan and monthly?
The one-time plan ($7.99) gives you lifetime Pro access for a single payment — no recurring charges ever. The monthly plan ($12.99/mo) is better if you're actively job hunting and want ongoing access with a free trial first.
